Ladies Night Out

Well sorry to say no pictures, but we had a great time. One drop out, Mary cracked a bone in her foot and decided to stay home and elevate her foot. Her daughter and I agree she s a whoos!

Anyway went to Wine Styles and did the 6 samples of wine for $5, usually it's only 3 or 4 select wines that you get to sample and it's what they are pouring for the evening, 5 for $5 well this time it was your choice off of the white list and the red list both of which were like 2 pages long. Such decisions but we did 3 whites and 3 reds then ordered a bottle of the white that everyone liked A Reserve St Michele Reisling. Now they will let you bring your own food in to "nosh" on so I made us a nice antipasta plate, with cheese, salami, cherry tomatoes/mozzarella drizzled with olive oil, salt& pepper, breadsticks wrapped with italian ham, and some grapes mmmmmmmm.

Well after about 3 hours it was time to hit the movies, Valentine's Day, popcorn and soda, good chick movie really enjoyed it. After seeing some of the previews I just might have to be doing some movies.

The plan was to do a light late night dinner at a new Bristol Cheryl and I scoped out which was supposed to be open until 11:30 but we got there at 10:45 and it was closed the manager was outside and said he hadn't had a customer for over 45 minutes so closed up for the evening. (: But at least we might have a new place to try on another night out.

So over to the loud Yard House for some salads of course I forgot to mention it's pouring rain and we all left our umbrellas in the car. So we are a bit wet and while eating it decides to really pour, with thunder and lighting, we tried to wait it out but it just kept raining so we paid and ventured to the car. Colleen had a hoodie jacket, so she was sort of dry, Kathie decided to just brave it and go for the wet smelly hairspray look, Cheryl and I "borrowed" a cloth napkin from the Yard House to sort of stay dry while trudging to the car.

After a good night to all we all went our separate ways in pouring rain, but it was a great Ladies Night Out and looking forward to the Next One , so Mary what are we having?

So until the next time Remember to Live, Love, Laugh and Wine a Bit!

Love to All
Carrol
